Accessibility
Accessibility statement of this site: the level we aim for (WCAG 2.1 AA), how we check it, what we have not tested yet and how to tell us about a problem.
In 30 seconds
The goal
That the site can be used with a keyboard, with larger text and with reduced motion. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines.
What we already check
Every page goes through an automated axe review, is walked with a keyboard and is tested at 320 pixels wide and with text at 200 percent. Below you can try the reduced motion mode.
What we do not yet
We have not done an external audit or tests with screen readers or real devices yet. We do not claim full conformance until we have them.
If something does not work
Write to legal@falcani.com with the page and what happened. We fix it and tell you.
Motion, your way
Play the entrance of a device, with and without reduced motion.
Your system does not ask for reduced motion.

With motion: the tablet turns for a moment until it faces front.

1. Our commitment
falcani wants this site to be usable by anyone, on any device and with whatever aids they need. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
2. Conformance status
Status: partial conformance, under review. The site was built to meet level AA, but it has not yet been verified with an external audit or with all assistive technologies, so we do not claim full conformance.
3. What we do
- Keyboard. Everything you can do with a mouse you can do with the keyboard, including the cases on the home page. The focus shows with a sky-colored ring and the tab order follows the order of the page. The first element on every page is a link to skip to the content.
- Contrast. Body text meets a contrast ratio of 4.5 to 1 or more, and color is never the only signal of a state.
- Size. Controls are at least 44 pixels tall. The page can be enlarged with text at 200 percent and is usable at 320 pixels wide without scrolling sideways.
- Motion. If your system asks for reduced motion, the site removes spins, bounces and slides and leaves only short opacity changes.
- Structure. Every page has a single main heading, headings in order, named regions and alternative text for images that say something.
- Forms. Every field has its label, errors are said with text and an icon (not only color) and are announced to screen readers.
4. How we check it
With an automated axe review that uses the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules on the pages of the site, with keyboard tests, with tests at 320 pixels wide and at 200 percent text, and with reduced motion tests. An automated review finds only part of the possible problems.
5. Known limitations
- It has not been tested with screen readers such as VoiceOver or NVDA.
- It has not been tested on real mid-range devices, or in every browser.
- The cases on the home page are interactive experiences with drawn devices: their text equivalent is the title of each case, its spec and its description.
- No external audit has been done.
6. How to tell us about a problem
Write to legal@falcani.com with the address of the page, what you were trying to do, what happened and the assistive technology you use, if you want to share it. We will answer and fix the problem.
Pending review
This text is a draft. We still need to confirm the specific contact for accessibility, the tests with screen readers and real devices, and whether an external audit will be done before claiming conformance.
